Terms of Service
Effective October 24, 2026
These terms apply to website services provided by Magnetic Site Studio ("we," "us," "our"), operated by Charles Widmer as a sole proprietor. By ordering, paying for or using our services, you ("client," "you") agree to these terms.
Services
- Website build — $490, one-time. A complete, mobile-friendly website, including two rounds of revisions and launch on your domain.
- Care plan — $25/month, optional. Hosting, upkeep and up to 4 edits per year.
- Hand-off option — $0/month. We deliver the site and you manage it. No maintenance or free edits are included; any edits you request later are quoted before work begins.
- Google Profile setup — $199, one-time. Setting up or cleaning up your Google Business Profile and linking it to your website.
- Growth Package — $990 to start, then $99/month. Includes the website, Google Profile setup and the care plan, plus ongoing Google posts, directory listings, a review system and a monthly report. Cancel any time. If you cancel, you keep your website and can switch to the $25/month care plan or the $0 hand-off option.
- Domain. You buy and own your web address (about $13/year at GoDaddy). We connect it to your website.
- Add-ons. Connecting a booking or calendar tool you already use is included. Setting one up from scratch is $100. Other add-ons are quoted separately.
Ordering and payment
You accept these terms when you agree to them at checkout and pay for your order. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. The build fee is due before your site is launched. Care plan payments are charged automatically each month until cancelled.
Timeline
Most websites go live within 72 hours after we receive payment and any content we need from you. Delays in providing content, approvals or domain access will extend the timeline.
Revisions
After your order, we deliver and launch the current version of your website. The build includes two rounds of changes, available within 30 days of your order. We send you an updated copy of your website files after your final round. Additional changes are quoted before work begins, or covered by your care plan edits if you have one.
Your content
You are responsible for the text, photos, logos and other materials on your website, including any we used from your public business listings or social media pages when preparing your site. You confirm that you own or have permission to use that content and that it does not violate anyone else's rights or any law. Let us know if anything should be replaced or removed.
Ownership
Once the build fee is paid in full, you own your website's content and design as delivered. Your domain is registered in your name. Third-party tools, fonts and services used on the site remain subject to their own licenses. We may show versions of our design work in our portfolio with your business name and details removed.
Hosting and third-party services
Websites are hosted with third-party providers such as Netlify, and may use other third-party tools such as booking apps or domain registrars. We are not responsible for outages, changes or problems caused by those providers, but care plan clients receive our help resolving them.
Refunds and cancellation
- Website build. We deliver your website preview and a complete copy of your website files within 72 hours of your order. After this delivery, the build fee is non-refundable, as your website has been completed and delivered.
- Care plan. Monthly charges begin at checkout. Cancel anytime by email or phone. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing month. Partial months are not refunded.
No guarantee of results
We build websites to be professional, fast and easy to use, but we do not guarantee search engine rankings, traffic, leads or sales.
Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, such as lost profits or lost data.
Ending services
Either party may end ongoing services with written notice. We may suspend or end services for non-payment or for content that is illegal or harmful.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date at the top shows when they were last changed. Changes do not affect work already paid for.
